"Homemade Suet Cakes"
“It's for the birds!” from the Animal Welfare Society
in West Kennebunk “Nibbles and Nips”
 In a 2 quart saucepan, melt lard and peanut butter over medium heat. Remove from and heat and stir in oats, cornmeal, flour, sugar and any of the optional ingredients. Press mixture into freezer containers about 1-1/2" deep. Refrigerate until cool and then cut into cakes. Unused cakes can be wrapped in plastic wrap and frozen.
